Betty Hernandez, Mexican, Indigenous Mazahua, Obstetrician Nurse, and graduate from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). As a migrant in the United States, her first language is Spanish and understands a little Mazahua. Her motto is social justice and breaking with intergenerational trauma, she believes in collective education. Her mission in the community is to serve as a bridge of information and opportunities for other families, so she challenges herself to learn more. Her greatest value is her family, her favorite hobby is riding a bike and discovering new places on foot! She is currently in love with hiking.
