About

Catherine (she/her) brings unique passion and first-hand knowledge of the role of nonprofits, grassroots organizations and coalitions in knitting together resources, information and the safety net needed by diverse communities across King County. With more than twenty years of direct service leadership, she knows first-hand the complexity of decision making in the local non-profit environment. Her experience merges executive leadership at Neighborhood House, YouthCare and Plymouth Housing with a commitment to results accomplished through quality and equitable programming, analysis and strategic action, and strong organizational infrastructure. She as developed scores of new programs to meet community needs, designing programs and building and managing realistic budgets needed to deliver quality services.

Her sector experience includes child development, basic needs, youth development, family support, health, workforce development, homelessness/housing stability, education, and immigrant/refugee issues. She launched Verrenti Consulting in 2016 for the purpose of building capacity in this region’s mission-based organizations. As a BSK Capacity Builder, she has supported scores of applications and grassroots awardees to seek funding and growth their grow their mission focused organizations through grant writing and support, budget support, facilitation, strategic planning, coalition building, organizational development and more.
