About Me

I've been teaching in the Parent Education Program at Bellevue College for 15 years, teaching both children and parents. Since 2021, I've moved to consulting with preschools and parents about child development, classroom management, child behavior and Positive Discipline. It's been a joy to see various programs across the Eastside and Seattle and to be able to help both teachers and parents understand their children better and empower them to create more harmony in the home and classroom.

Description of Services Offered

I offer in-class observations for classrooms looking for developmentally appropriate ways to improve learning outcomes. I recommend developmental screenings when appropriate and assist administrators with gaining confidence talking with parents. I work with teachers to identify effective strategies for classroom management and ways to help specific children. I also offer Parent Coaching and teach Parent Education Classes when invited to a school or informal group. My classes include Positive Discipline and an array of topics appropriate to Early Childhood teaching.
