About
As an immigrant, I have experienced feeling alone and isolated. As a parent raising a child in the US, I have experienced the challenges of preparing them for school. My experience as a young mother seeking a sense of belonging ignited my passion for community building and family support. I have dedicated myself to a career facilitating environments and opportunities where diverse families can connect, learn new skills, and create a support network as their child's first teacher. I have the knowledge, experience, and passion for parent education and early learning, and I believe we can build a stronger community, one family at a time. In my role in the Family Support Department as our Early Childhood Program Coordinator, I support various services to the community, focusing on the Hispanic/Latinx community and those with children 0-6 years old.
