Katrice, Katt, (she/her) is the proud mother to four beautiful and brilliant daughters, a sassy cat, tutu the amazing beta, and an elusive hamster. Katt is a certified birth and postpartum doula, certified lactation education specialist, early learning consultant, and nationally certified school psychologist. Katt is dedicated to bringing back the traditional wisdom of welcoming life by learning of the ancestral practices of her family from Tanzania and Yemen. Katt works to ensure that birthing people have the power to determine how they wish to birth, how they wish to nourish their babies, and how they wish to raise compassionate humans. Katt dream’s that families who enter into her care will be able to embrace full body sovereignty and that their traditional and ancestral approaches to birth, child rearing, and holistic self-care and wellness are uplifted. During Katt’s recentering time she can be found sipping on a lavender or cardamom latte, surrounded by fresh flowers, and listening to a book on tape while she plans her next tranquil trip to the coast.
