14 Month Program Overview:

  • August 2025 (in-person kick off event) to October 2026 (in-person celebratory closing)
  • Multidisciplinary facilitators with diverse backgrounds and experiences sharing topics embedded in equity and social justice
  • 1 day per month of didactic and practical application of topic covered (facilitated via Zoom spaces)
  • Open to all Early Childhood Providers in King County ONLY

Young children are the most vulnerable to adversity and the most responsive to interventions because brain connections develop fastest in the first five years of life. This curriculum covers foundational principles of early childhood within a racial justice frame centering the voices and experiences of Black, Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC).

  9. May 19, 2026: Collective Wounding and Healing (part one)
  10. June 16, 2026: Collective Wounding and Healing (part two)
  11. July 21, 2026: Reflection and Integration
  12. August 18, 2026: Reflective Practice and Sustainability
  13. September 15, 2026: Collective Liberation
  14. October 20, 2026: In-person closing celebration
