City of Seattle’s Office of Immigrant and Refugee Affairs offers information on policies impacting immigrants and refugees, data and reports, as well as several programs and services including: 

  • Free Immigration Legal Assistance: If you are an immigrant in detention or at risk of or facing deportation because of your immigration status, you may qualify for free legal services.
  • Immigrant Rapid Response Program: A city-led, community-centered initiative designed to protect and empower immigrants and refugees in Seattle by providing legal consultations, Know Your Rights trainings, family safety planning, and a hotline to report immigration enforcement activity.
  • Free Help Applying for Citizenship: Information about community events, local organizations, and even online options to help you apply for U.S. citizenship.
  • Immigrant Safety and Access Network: A network of community-based organizations that provides support for immigrant and refugee families who experience disproportionate harm from violence.
