Tara Atyam has 9 years of experience working as an Epidemiologist and Research Scientist in a government setting. She currently works at Seattle & King County serving as an evaluator for a few strategies under the Best Starts for Kids Initiative. She started her Public Health journey at UC Berkeley where she got a Bachelors in Public Health and then worked at Planned Parenthood as a Health Services Specialist. She continued her education by getting her Masters in Public Health at the University of Southern California, with an emphasis on Biostatistics and Epidemiology. Her passion lies in program evaluation, data collection, and analyzing program measures and outcomes to better serve the community equitably.
