Dr. Perry will discuss how early childhood development has been impacted by the ongoing COVID pandemic, the current socio-political climate, and the racialized trauma both witnessed and experienced by young children along with their families and the communities that support them. Dr. Perry will discuss clinical strategies that center on strengthening the capacity to cope with trauma and the stress of systemic inequities and how the power of relationships plays a key role in the repair and long-term development of resilience from these experiences.
