Workforce Development would like to invite King County early childhood providers to our first in-person workshop and networking lunch since our lives shifted in 2020!

The workshop, Cultivating Genius in an Equitable Society, by Dr. Debra Sullivan, will include a discussion on:

  • Black Cultural Capital and the Black community
  • Challenges of dominance, privilege, prejudice, and oppression
  • Humanizing principles

This half-day event includes a lunch preceded by the workshop. Attendees will have the opportunity to take home Dr. Sullivan’s book, Cultivating the Genius of Black Children.

  • When: Thursday, October 19th from 11.30 AM - 4.30 PM
  • Where: Bellevue College, U-Building (Rooms 312 & 313)
