The Washington Immigration Solidarity Network (WAISN) Immigration Defense Hotline is a regional resource dedicated to supporting all Washingtonians regardless of immigration status.

Immigration: 

• Rapid Response to verify reports of immigration enforcement activity by ICE (Immigration & Customs Enforcement) and CPB (Customs & Border Protection): stops, detentions, raids.
• Know Your Rights (KYR) information about the rights of all

King County's Child Care Health Program has developed videos for cleaning with bleach with "3-Step Method for Cleaning in Child Care and Early Learning Programs" and "How to Mix Bleach Solution". Videos are available in English, Somali and Spanish.

WAISN is the largest immigrant-led coalition in Washington. We are a powerful, volunteer-driven network of immigrant and refugee-rights organizations and individuals distributed across the state that strives to protect, serve and strengthen communities across the state.

What to do if Immigration Comes to Your Child Care or Early Learning Program   

Employers have rights when Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) goes to a business, according to the National Immigration Law Center (NILC). ICE agents do not always have a right to enter your business, stop or arrest workers, or take documents. The Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) has created a Family Separation Rapid Response Team Resource flyer that lists trusted resources for families at risk of separation due to immigration-related detention or deportation. It includes links to sample immigrant safety plans, school guidance, community partners, legal supports, and information on Knowing Your Rights and training.

King County's Child Care Health Program presents printable bleach solution labels to support safe and accurate sanitation practices in child care settings. These labels help providers clearly mark containers with proper dilution ratios for cleaning and disinfecting.
