Liv has been focused on supports for children and families for over 17 years. She comes to this work having experience as a Pediatric Mental Health Specialist with Children’s Hospital (providing supports to children and families in a clinical setting), having managed an early literacy program, and working with early childhood systems and funding partners across Washington state. Her work at the state level has been around supporting early childhood initiatives, and expansion and integration of home-based services. Liv spent several years supporting community planning to determine where there are gaps in services, how to build a coordinated referral network, and support starting-up of new services that are prioritized locally. She has done intensive community planning with 11 counties in Washington state resulting in expansion of home-based services and supporting coordination of resources.
