Cultivating Prenatal to 5 (P-5) Community Based Facilitators is a Workforce Development program that supports King County’s P-5 community members who seek to share wisdom, learning and practice in their communities and beyond, and want to further cultivate their skills.

As a participant in this program, you can expect:  

• Building skills and practices to conduct culturally responsive trainings in your community and beyond in topics associated with:
  • Healthy Child Development
  • Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health
  • Racial Equity 
• Networking and learning opportunities with other community members
• Enjoying individual mentorship and support from highly experienced leaders  
• Co-creation of workshop and learning opportunities to reflect BIPOC communities' and others' strengths, challenges, and interests 

This 6-month program is scheduled to take place from July 2023 to April 2024. It is designed as a combination of large and small group trainings, individual mentorship sessions, and culminating with a celebration.
