In this workshop, we will train interested organizations on how to implement and administer the Culturally Responsive Measurement Tool - Protective Factors (CRMT-PF). The CRMT-PF is an instrument to measure protective factors in families with young children. Measuring protective factors is a strengths-based approach to understanding families’ health and wellbeing. The CRMT-PF was developed and tested with communities and community-based organizations in King County.

This session will discuss steps in implementing the CRMT-PF with your program. The session will take a train-the-trainer approach to discussing administration of the CRMT-PF, and will prepare attendees to train direct service staff in administering the tool with families. We will also cover how to analyze and interpret the results from the CRMT-PF at the individual family level and programmatic level.

There are two dates available for this session:

  • Thursday, June 27 from 12 PM - 2 PM
  • Monday, Sept 16 from 9 AM - 11 AM

The content for this workshop will be the same on both dates, so please only register for 1 of the available dates.

Note: This workshop is recommended for partners who have previously attended a CRMT-PF Info session (register here)  and are ready to implement the tool with their programs. The intended audience is program managers or other staff who would be in charge of overseeing implementation and/or training home staff in administering the tool. This training is not intended for direct service staff who will be administering the tool, or other program staff who will not be in charge of implementation. In addition to this training, individualized implementation support is available for BSK-funded organizations through Best Starts technical assistance and capacity building support. You can get more information about the CRMT-PF at https://bit.ly/3vCxeOK

This workshop is offered by The Capacity Collective in partnership with Best Starts for Kids.
