Sundus Ali has a Master of Arts in International Care and Community Development. She is the founder of Bridging the Gap LLC; some of the current services provided include consultation, technical assistance and training, and facilitation.  Mrs. Ali has close to two decades of experience in the developmental disabilities field, including working for the State of Washington Developmental Disability Administration and one of the local counties in Washington.  In addition, she is bilingual and speaks Somali.  Mrs. Ali is very passionate about the field of developmental disabilities and committed to destigmatizing disabilities in communities of multicultural backgrounds and promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion for all.  As an independent consultant, she provides a wide range of training, technical assistance, and facilitation to local government agencies, community-based organizations (CBO), hospitals, school districts, and families regarding disability services and services delivery approach through the lenses of cultural responsiveness.
