Breea Wainwright is a dedicated Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist within the California Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation (IECMHC) Network at WestEd. With a strong foundation in clinical expertise and reflective practice facilitation/supervision, Breea provides invaluable support to a team of consultants offering mental health consultation services to early learning and care programs and providers across California. Breea's professional journey is marked by a deep commitment to the well-being of infants and young children, as evidenced by her extensive expertise in infant and early childhood mental health, child-parent psychotherapy, perinatal mental health, and parent-child interactions.  Her academic background includes a BA in Psychology from San Francisco State University and an MS in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Mount Saint Mary's University in Los Angeles. Additionally, Breea is a graduate of the prestigious Napa Infant-Parent Mental Health Fellowship at the University of California, Davis. Breea holds endorsements as an Infant and Family Mental Health Specialist from the California Center for Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health. She is also a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and holds certification in Perinatal Mental Health from Postpartum International. With a wealth of knowledge and experience, Breea is committed to advancing the field of infant and early childhood mental health and ensuring that young children and their families receive the support and care they deserve.
