Racism exists. It permeates our legal systems, our healthcare systems, and even our education system. Colonization and the historical injustices that have played against Black, Indigenous, and other people of color has fueled the consistent rhetoric and hate that continues to control the narrative of societies here in the U.S. and across the globe. It's not enough to practice what Kendi describes as "feel good advocacy ". We must speak out against injustice, and work towards eradicating racism, in ourselves, and in our society.

Providing little children with the ability to label, talk about, and advocate against unfairness is an important first step towards a future where justice prevails.

In this workshop, we will work together in conversation and reflection to define what it means to be anti-racist, and how this translates to children from birth through kindergarten. You will receive real life implementations and practices, that can be utilized the minute you walk out the virtual door.

STARS credits are offered for this workshop.
