Details

The application of reflective practice can bring meaningful experiences to families in the community, and drive organizational change that promotes social justice. Strong reflective practice can center the healing capacities of all bodies and all relationships.

With this in mind, the facilitators will work towards expanding on the following central principles:

  • Reflective practice
  • Intersectionality
  • Opening doors
  • Rupture, reflection and Repair
  • Sustainability in the work
  • Parallel Process

Participants will emerge from this learning opportunity with the ability to question systems of oppression, reflect on their intersection with them, and actively invite participation in change that will promote community and organizational wellbeing.

This 6 month cohort will include engaging workshops that will introduce topics that center reflective practice. Deeper reflection on these principals will continue in small groups that will be held monthly. The small groups will provide an opportunity to think deeply, engage in peer learning and community building.

Training Structure (6 training days - topics below):

  • Reflective practice
  • Intersectionality
  • Opening doors
