Ensuring that young children are healthy, happy, and thriving begins by supporting the whole child and all who care for that child. Kindering’s Child Care and Preschool Consultation program partners with and builds upon the strengths of families, caregivers, and early learning professionals. We do this by building trusting relationships, being culturally responsive, exercising cultural humility, and using a healing-centered approach in our work to promote the development and emotional health of children in child care.

Brief description of services offered –
- On-site and virtual observation of children (age birth to six) at their child care or preschool setting
- Phone/virtual, online, and/or on-site coaching
- On-site and virtual observation and consultation to support the early care and education environment
- Resources and information on child development, behavior, health, wellness, and safety to support children, families, caregivers, and early learning professionals
- Strategies to assist with the support and retention of children in their child care or preschool setting
- Developmental screening and education
- Recommendations and/or referrals to families, caregivers, and early learning professionals
